Our firm provides services in relation to maritime/admiralty law including the negotiation and documentation of contracts for carriage of goods by sea, sale & purchase of vessels, marine insurance, time, voyage and bareboat charter parties, vessel pool management arrangements. We regularly liaise with the Canadian Ship Registry.

We have successfully represented clients in different maritime claims as counsel to the plaintiffs or defendants, ranging from arrest of ships, release of arrested ships, enforcement of maritime liens, enforcement of subrogation rights in marine insurance amongst others.

Our firm currently acts as company secretary to Ontario Shipyards, a leading ship building, operation and maintenance company in Canada.

Members of the firm have benefitted from training in all aspects of maritime law. They have acquired experience in resolution of claims relating to charter parties, cargo, collision, demurrage and damages for detention, sale and purchase of vessels, ownership of vessels, arrest and release of ships, and negotiation of settlement of claims.
